About this measure:
The data is collected from the Equal Opportunity Survey in the application process that asks about questions related to the applicant’s ethnic background.
Why this is important:
Lincoln has a diverse population and city government strives to have a workforce that is reflective of the community.
What is being done:
In order to accomplish the goal of increasing workplace diversity, the City reaches out to culturally diverse organizations to recruit qualified applicants, reviews policies and procedures to eliminate barriers, and promotes diversity through the City website and recruiting materials.
